“體面”二字是酒店設(shè)計(jì)無法回避的話題，也是貫穿西金酒店設(shè)計(jì)始末的主旨。論本質(zhì)，體面是自我要求，更是一種嚴(yán)格自律的人生態(tài)度。威爾-史密斯在“幸福來敲門”一片中飾演的逆襲男主，正是借著這一份堅(jiān)守體面的態(tài)度深深觸動(dòng)了觀者內(nèi)心，即使顛沛流離，居無定所，肩上始終扛著熨燙整齊并用塑料袋保護(hù)的西服。內(nèi)心何其強(qiáng)大的精神支撐，縱使落魄拮據(jù)，仍須呵護(hù)的一份尊嚴(yán)。
The word "decency" is an avoidable topic in hotel design, aswell as the theme that dominates the design of Golden West Hotel. On thenature, decency is not only a self demand, but also a strict life attitude ofself discipline. Will Smith played a man of counterattack in "The Pursuitof Happiness", but it is his determination to stick on decency that deeplytouches the viewer's heart. While displaced, with no fixed abode, he alwayswears a neatly ironed suit with a plastic bag as it shelter. With this strongheart and defined spiritual support, though living as an underdog, his dignityis well protected.



機(jī)場(chǎng)，來往皆為云端客，行色匆匆，身心俱疲，渴求的是一浴一寢，消解困乏。面對(duì)要么奢華矯飾、要么簡(jiǎn)陋粗俗的選擇，大多旅客也只能倉(cāng)促的將旅程小憩“草率”安放。
People walking around the airport are all “commuters in the air”. Theycome and go in a hurry, feel physically and mentally fatigued, in this way,their only craving can be a bath and a sleep, which can release them fromtiresomeness. However, in face of the either luxurious or simple vulgar choice,most of the passengers can only "hastily" rest themselves during thejourney.



酒店投資人是具有軍旅生涯的年輕企業(yè)家，一絲不茍的態(tài)度和事必躬親的作風(fēng)，使其對(duì)“體面”有著深刻的理解和嚴(yán)苛的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，同時(shí)作為資深“云端客”希望給予旅程一份基本的尊重和體面的禮遇。
Our hotel investor is a young entrepreneur once developing a militarycareer, which endows him with meticulous attitude and practical style, as wellas a profound understanding and stringent standards towards"decency". Besides, as a senior "commuter in the air" himself,he hopes to allow every journey basic respect and decent courtesy.

擬定“云鳥”的創(chuàng)作主題，愿“云端客”們感受到一份隱喻的趣味與輕松，折紙手法的飛鳥燈飾及擺件點(diǎn)綴在空間中，酒店掌柜“大金哥”是一只傲慢的灰鸚鵡，俏皮打趣的學(xué)舌將主題升華，別樣的迎客方式為緩解旅程勞頓。
We set the "air bird" as the creative theme, in the hope ofthe "commuters in the air" could feel an environment of fun and easy. The bird-like folding paper of decorative lightings and ornaments areembellished in the space; the shopkeeper "Big Gold" is an arrogantgray Parrot, his funny follow suit sublimates the subject, releases thecustomers from the fatigue journey in a distinguished way.
